Excellent Safety Record for 2020
In 2020, RBI went over 50,000 work hours without a single incident. We are incredibly proud of the RBI team for always putting safety first and helping us achieve this award for the 3rd year in a row.
August Safety Champion
The Safety Champion for the month of August is Bobby Mills for his dedication and commitment to safety over his 55 years working at RBI. And you know what they say, retire a champion, stay a champion.
July Safety Champion
Our Safety Champion for July is Clint Lyle. While eating lunch at a local restaurant, Clint noticed a child at a nearby table started choking. He immediately jumped to the child’s rescue, successfully performing the Heimlich maneuver. Thank you Clint for acting quickly to save a life!
June Safety Champion
Congratulations to Derek Mowbray! He is our Safety Champion for June after being nominated for safe work practices at a local facility.
May Safety Champion
Safety comes first at RBI, so we’re shining a spotlight on John Jefferson, who was selected as May’s Safety Champion of the Month. John is recognized for developing and executing a plan to safely install large ductwork at a recent job site. Thank you for being a good example of working safely, John!
March Safety Champions
The Safety Champions for the month of March are Lynn Thacker, Randy Kite, Eric Dove, and Dick Shearer. Lynn, Randy, Eric, and Dick are being recognized for their efforts in cleaning and maintaining the parking lot and sidewalks at the office and shops this past winter with all of the snow and ice.
February Safety Champions
The Safety Champions for the month of February are Ronald Miller and Colten Ganoe. Ronald and Colten were traveling to a jobsite when a driver in another vehicle stopped abruptly. January Safety Champion
The Safety Champion for the month of January is Rodney Maddox. Rodney was nominated for diligently wearing the required PPE and for performing LOTO and covering equipment prior to washing condensers. Great job, Rodney!
December Safety Champion
The Safety Champion for the month of December is Pete Ball. Pete was installing pipe above a ceiling when he made a quick turn which caused his safety glasses to make contact with a sharp valve handle, resulting in a deep groove in his glasses.
