The JMU Atlantic Union Bank Center is a state-of-the-art new construction project in Harrisonburg, VA, that will serve as the future home of James Madison University Basketball and other entertainment events/activities. This project features the largest ductwork to date manufactured by RBI’s sheet metal shop, a 52″ double-wall spiral. This is also the first time that three entities of Comfort Systems USA have worked on the same project together; RBI, EAS & Trumbo Electric all carried large contracts of the plumbing, mechanical and electrical scopes of work.

Systems installed included all components of the mechanical and plumbing systems:

• Centrifugal chillers
• Multiple RTU air handlers
• Hot water boilers
• Large bore chilled and heating water piping
• Plumbing systems for large event occupancy facilities including kitchens, concessions, and locker room facilities
