The John Wayland Elementary School project included renovation and additional construction of an existing 72,000 square foot single-story school. Both the mechanical and plumbing systems were updated including a brand-new mechanical room that was entirely fabricated in our plumbing shop. A complete upgrade of all mechanical and plumbing utilities and systems for the entire building was done as well.

RBI’s role included:

• Installing new chilled and heating water systems, air-cooled chiller, water heaters, hot water boilers, and energy recovery rooftop equipment
• Removing existing pneumatic controls and replacing them with an updated temperature control system
• Installing new plumbing fixtures throughout
• Installing a new outside air / kitchen hood / grease exhaust system to serve the newly renovated kitchen
